AI Dungeon
*** Early build, basic game is playable, runs unique loot-tables and monster-tables down to about dungeon-level 10 (although unless you are very skilled you're unlikely to survive that far!) -- but most of the custom-content isn't written yet ***
Based on ideas from JDorman's 2010 paper on AI-generated quests-and-dungeons (where the quests change the dungeon-generation process to make the story possible), I wanted to build a roguelike where it feels like there's genuine, interesting, story, while doing the classic things of levelling up, finding loot, avoiding traps, discovering secret passages, using magic items, etc.
Also inspired by watabou's PixelDungeon - but I wanted to go further, make the puzzles and stories more complex and rich, while using AI routines to guarantee that each puzzle/story was 'fair' (unlike many Nethack/Angband-clones where random luck slaughters you every time).
Lots of room for improvement, expect to see new builds every month or so...
